R-Link 2: update 8.0.32.5xx available.
A small update is available for the R-Link 2.
This update does not bring new features but fixes bugs, especially with Carplay. This update is only available for people with version 8.0.32.30x. The new version will be 8.0.32.5xx, the numbering indicates that this is a minor update.
It is available in 2 channels:
- The R-Link 2 Toolbox (➡download it)

I installed the new update (32.500) and now the steering wheel options (comfort, neutral & sport) are not working anymore 🙁 Now the steering wheel sensitivity is always high, regardless of the mode you select.
Has someone else experienced this too with the new update?
You mean that you your steering wheel is always in “sports”mode? Installed but did not notice that…

Exactly. Steering wheel seems stuck in “sport mode”, regardless the mode I select. Now there is no difference to the steering wheel between sport, comfort, eco or normal mode 😐
I’ve installed this update myself too. Now if I select the female voice on navigation, after stopping the engine the voice rolls back to the male voice. And it’s annoying because it speaks romanian with a funny hungarian accent. But the old bugs on the navigation remained. It gives you instructions just when it pleases, it tells you to turn or to get out of the highway only with 200 m before. If you don’t select short instructions, you will have the surprise that sometimes you get no instructions. Additionally, on automatic lighting setting you get no witness on the dashboard that the daylights are on.
I’m interested how can I roll back to the old 8.0.32.3xx version. It seems to have less bugs… Thx!
