To make the various updates of the GPS R-Link 1, Renault puts at our disposal a tool called R-Link 1 ToolBox. This very simple tool will allow to download and to copy the updates maps and software.

How to use it?
It’s very simple, this tool is the link between the Navigation system and the R-Link Store. The GSM connection of the car can download little update but for all the other the R-Link toolbox is mandatory.
- First of all, you eject properly the SD card from your R-Link 1 system using the “Eject” option on the home screen.
- You connect the SD card to your computer.
- Download should start automaticaly. If it is not the case, go on the R-Link store with the computer to synchronise the SD card.
- When it is finished you eject the SD card from your computer and you connect it in you car with the engine on.
- The update will start after confirmation.
