To make the various updates of the GPS R-Link 2, Renault puts at our disposal a tool called R-Link 2 ToolBox. This very simple tool will allow to download and to copy the updates maps and software.
How to download R-Link 2 Toolbox?
The latest versions of the tool can be downloaded using the following links:

How to use it?
It’s very simple, this tool is the link between the Navigation system and the R-Link Store. The GSM connection of the car can download little update but for all the other the R-Link toolbox is mandatory.
- First of all, you have to make an imprint of your system in your vehicle by inserting a blank USB key for one minute in your vehicle.
- You connect the USB key to your computer and you will be able to select which update to download.
- When it is finished you eject the key from your computer and you connect it in you car with the engine on.
- The update will start after confirmation.
