R-Link 3: it will come with the next Clio V
Renault is currently refining its future Clio.
This one is undergoing tests on open roads and photographers have been able to surprise her. Regarding the outside we do not see much. The indiscretions that can be read in the press seem to indicate that the revolution should not be so external, which should be an evolution of the style of the current that pleases many.
However inside we should have a nice evolution of the quality of materials, the weak point of the current generation. According to Carlos Ghosn, the Clio should bring a first level of autonomous driving (level 2) that requires keeping your hands on the wheel and watching the road (like a Tesla). Look forward to testing this! This development should also bring a new multimedia system to succeed the current R-Link 2 (although the Clio IV had received only the R-Link 1). No more information for the moment, apart from this photo taken by the magazine motor.es.
In the picture we observe a screen placed like the R-Link 1, in landscape position with a size that seems similar to the current version. Under the screen we seem to see sensory buttons. The graphics differ from the R-Link 2, with rounded buttons.
The presentation of the Clio V is scheduled for the end of 2018 for commercialization by the end of the first half of 2019. I called it R-Link 3 but no confirmation in this sense for the moment.
R-Link 2 had lots of trouble. Trust me they do not prefer R-Link 3 for a name.
