R-Link 2: new 2017.12 map version available

Renault has been releasing a new version of the map since yesterday.

This 2017.12 version for Europe includes the new speed limits for France (from 90 km / h to 80 km / h for the secondary road network under conditions). The Europe update is for the moment only for 7-inch landscape format versions. The update for the large 8.9-inch portrait format should not be long.

For the other areas, the update is avalable for the 2 versions of R-Link 2 (7 & 8.9 inch). How update map: see this page.

The different maps available for this update:

  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Chile
  • Middle East
  • Central America
  • Caraib
  • Mexico
  • Oceania
  • South Asia
  • Tunisia
  • Europe (for 7 inch landscape)
  • Southern Africa

To benefit from the update for free it is necessary to have a valid map subscription (visible on the R-Link store in the category My applications and services). If it has expired you can buy a one-year subscription for 89 €.

It may get crowded for download, I suggest you do it during the night or early in the morning!

    Hi,

Does that 2017.12 map version of Europe contain traffic info function?

    • The traffic info function need to have a valid “TomTom HD trafic ” subscription. Check on the rlink store in “my application my services” if it is the case
