Renault Rolls Out Feature-Packed Update for Dashcam App
Renault has released a highly anticipated update for the Dashcam application available on the Austral, Rafale, and Scenic. The release notes for this latest version reveal a host of new features:
- Sudden Movement Detection: Recording is now automatically triggered by abrupt vehicle movements.
- Hazard Light Activation: Recording is triggered when hazard lights are turned on (available from OpenR Link 4.2.0 onwards).
- Buffer Customization: Users can now adjust the recorded footage time before and after a trigger event.
- Audio Alerts: An audible chime now sounds when recording is triggered.
